A triathlon legend is coming to California.
And he wants to meet your team!
From October 1–7, 2025, Jan Frodeno will be traveling the West Coast — from San Diego up to San Francisco.
Along the way, one community will get the chance to host him for a day of training together, sharing stories, and celebrating the sport we all love.

What is this all about?
California’s West Coast is home to some of the most dedicated communities in sport — runners, riders, and triathletes who show up week after week and build real connection through movement.
During the West Coast Connect tour, Ryzon and Jan Frodeno want to highlight that spirit — by dedicating one day to a local crew.
One deserving sports community will win an unforgettable experience: A 60–90 minute visit from Jan Frodeno for your entire team including:
- A short group ride or run — your choice (max. 50 participants for safety)
- A Q&A and photo session
- A feature story on Ryzon's global social media channels, putting your community in the spotlight

Frequently Asked Questions
The visit will take place on one day between October 2nd and 6th, 2025. The exact day and time will be coordinated with the winning community.
The tour runs from San Diego through the OC/LA area up to the San Francisco Bay Area.
That said, your community doesn’t need to be located in one of those hubs — if you’re based anywhere in California, we’d love to hear from you.
The experience will last approximately 60–90 minutes and will include a short run or ride, a group Q&A session, and time for photos.
This is a contest judged by a panel from Ryzon. We will select the host based on the strength of their application, their community's story, and their alignment with the tour's logistics.
We will shortlist strong communities for potential future meetups.
Yes, provided the proposed event is community-oriented and open to local athletes to join.
There is no fee to apply. Ryzon will handle all of Jan’s travel and time. We just ask the winning host to handle the local basics, like defining a start/end point and having an indoor fallback option if needed.
